New tele owner and forum member

Hello, I just recently received a mexican made standard tele as a gift. I am wanting to give it a fuller sound with out muddling it up with distortion. I mainly want to change the neck pick up with a double coil humbucker, but I do not know what brand and type. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I just typed in neck humbucker using the search function so generously provided here on this forum and got 20 pages of results, that should provide informative reading for a while.

Welcome. Can't beat free. Regarding I was wanting a different sound out of the neck pickup and put in a cheap strap pickup from the bay. Sounds great, deep and round but still a single coil sound.

And, yeah, can we see that gift tele?
