Hello,
I just built myself a partscaster:

But I'm having a little issue with the Gotoh (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Electric_guitar,_non-trem_bridges/Gotoh_Modern_Bridge_for_Tele.html) six saddle bridge that I bought. It intonates properly but the intonation screw on the high E-string saddle borders on being too short. It works now but I can't really shorten the scale on that string any more.
When compared to a normal Telecaster ashtray bridge, the intonation range is more forward than the Gotoh bridge.
There's really only one location for the bridge since the string through holes in the body were predrilled. I did the best I could when I drilled the bridge mounting holes and it turned out allright, just a tiny bit off (half a millimeter offset to the left). Am I alone in this? Is it anything I should care about? The strings go through the string-through hole just fine and the strings are centered on the fretboard.
