Hi everyone,
I'm getting together everything for a Nocaster caster build.
This far I've got an Allparts vintage tinted neck to go with my '52RI body.
I'm looking at the neck, and have noticed that the vintage tint finish is on the frets.
What are your experiences, with removing this, should I just leave it and wear it off?
Do I need to dress the frets?
Secondly, I'm going to put a "Ferden" decal on it, what are your suggestions for top coats, laquer, or is a clear urethane or clear enamel better?
Thanks in advance.
