ive been looking for a good mic to buy for my amp so i dont have to deal with crappy setups from venues. Ive narrowed it down to two mics: a Sennheiser Evolution e906 and a Shure Beta 57A. Anyone have experience with either or maybe even both? Any info helps thanks!

Another 90's Blues Deluxe here with nearly similar mics, though its a standard SM57 the same year as the amp and recently the Senn E606 which is like a cheaper switchless model then the e906.Did some rough recording with the Senn which impressed.I'll be using the Senn from now and intend bringing it to gigs as well-not only does it seem to sound better its not going to get shoved through the grillecloth so easy and much faster than fiddling with stands.Hung off the handle kept above the middle along with the BD's off centre speaker gave a very good result.
