Make my own threaded saddles [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

I am replacing my MIM Nashville fishman power tele bridge (anyone want it?) with one I am making from scratch. I was inspired by the Scattercaster $100 challenge. Does anyone know what size machine screw could be used as the base to make threaded saddles? I will likely use the saddle height and intonation screws from the exisiting setup, and plan to drill and tap the holes in the fashioned saddles as needed. Thanks.
