I'm in love with more than my wife and kids. My Santa Cruz OMS - I didn't think an acoustic guitar could play with such ease and kick out so much tone on a size or per pound basis.

The passion for playing and hearing my Santa Cruz has never diminished and I can't say that for most guitars.

I would love to join this club too...Someday! Or maybe a Huss Dalton?

Pretty expensive guitar...I'm sure it's worth it but it may be prohibitive to some.

One of the best acoustics I ever laid my hand on was a Santa Cruz 12 fret slope shoulder slot head dreadnaught. The most beautiful articulate huge sounding dread I ever heard. I'm still thinking of selling my Les Paul and getting one of these.

I am in with a 91 OM with the Scgc logo at twelfth fret. Took me fifteen years to get one but they are as good as anything I have ever played! I put Waverlys on it just to max it out. Richard Hoover is a master loves what he does and his team is top notch! I will have to do some photos when I get home.

Hey Thanks! Just a quick snapshot, the pick guard was added later by the amazing Dan Roberts, which shouldn't be a bad thing if I had to re-sell. He was in the shop when the guitar was made. The finish is worn off the parts of the neck and it is getting some good finish cracks. The top was voiced by Henrik Bridger. I would love to get one done by Joseph King someday.

This is a nice find, didn't think there was an SCGC owner's club. That the club includes two former employees (I'm one, 1990-1995, finish guy, replaced Fred Latta, not that anyone could "replace" him as he is awesome) is a bit disconcerting.

000 12-fret for life. You guys should have seen the guitar we modeled it from. Not quite the most expensive guitar that came through the shop while I was there but close.

It was fun to see the guitars that came through. Your era at the shop was Golden. In the hut on Ingalls! I went through a bunch of photos when I was there, I bet you were in one of them. Nice to meet you!
