I have some amp trades going on and am offered a Crate amp with
4) EL84s or an AMP with 2) EL34. I have a few small EL84 [x2] amps, but no experience otherwise having used SS for loud and except for a few 5 watt tube amps, not usable for what I have the possibility of doing. I had a HRDx212 last time I needed louder, but it is gone now so looking for another tube am with some power 30-60 range I am thinking.
Withering out the SS stuff and was looking for a 50 Wattish tube amp so this was the offerings to me.
Crate Vintage Club 60 4) EL84 or Crate 2) EL34 they call VC but it is later VC6112. The 4) EL84 is a more rare 115 old school like the Peavy classic and the other that 2 row preamp knobs Marshall looking dodad one I am leaning away from.
