power tube problem

I have a Bogner alchemist that keeps blowing power tubes, I wanted to know if it would harm my amp if I just put in another power tube just to confirm what I'm thinking. I just had amp biased and retubed one month ago and now it seem's it is running at half volume and gain is very weak. Tell me your thoughts please

Based on what you stated here, the first thing I would do is take it back to who ever "biased and retubed" it, rather than possibly wasting a good tube or damaging your amp.

+1. If it was biased correctly, you can't just change a power tube without the bias being corrected.
