First build: mahogany w/ maple neck [Archive]

Hey all,

Just starting my first build... slowly getting all the parts I need. Thanks for all the inspiration around the forum!

I'm going to cut the wood at the machine shop at my school with the CNC mill, hopefully within the next two weeks if all goes to plan. Midterm season is just ending so my engineering buddies have some free time to help me out the next couple of weeks with the CNC stuff.

I've got most of the parts I need, just waiting on a truss rod and some Lindy Fralins which should be here early next week. Here are a couple photos of everything I've got, including a gorgeous piece of figured mahogany, and a figured maple neck. I'm a sucker for figured woods.
