Hey y'all (that right, I love that word),
I've been spying out some of the wealth of info on these boards for a little while and figured I should say "hi". I head up my church's music and student ministries here in Keller, TX (on the north side of Fort Worth) and have the privilege of getting to lead a few hundred folks in worship through song each week in two services, as well as occasional special events for our students.
I play more acoustic than anything else, but on weeks when I bring out an electric it's a usually a Tele (much love for the SX STL50). I also have a Les Paul knock off that I modded a while back: master volume, master tone, variable coil split for each pickup, and a blend pot where the pickup switch used to be. It's a bit of an odd duck, but I dig the versatility. Also, I got my BA in music from UNT though, ironically, trombone was my primary instrument back then.
I really dig the community vibe around here - and it's nice to not be a lurker anymore!
