Information needed about a fender neck

Hello,

I want to rebuilt a MIJ stratocaster I had as "spares". Got the body, the trem unit and a broken neck.

I watched on ebay looking for such necks and I fout this one :

But there is NO Made in Japan, no serial number... So, is it a real fender neck or a third party neck ? I need specialists.

On one of the close up shots there is a rectangular area at the base where there may have been a MIJ decal.

so, maybe a *** neck but with serial and origin deleted... Looks strange ! Why people could do that ?
