Will vintage tuners fit a 70's neck?

just wondering if, aside from the screw holes not lining up on the back of the headstock, vintage Kluson's can be retrofitted to a 70's neck (ie, are the holes and bushings completely different sizes)?

If I recall, I thing the post spacing is a little different...I'm sure others will chime in.
