I have a few posts already but I forgot to introduce myself. I am 45, have been playing since I was 17 and now get the special pleasure of watching my 16 year old son become totally overcome by a love for guitars. I bought him a Squire about 4 years ago but he kind of dropped it after a short period. I was certainly bummed but 2 years later he all of the sudden became enthralled and now kicks a$$ doing sweep picking and all kinds of fretboard mayhem. Life is GOOD.

I hear ya about your son . . . My son continues to amaze me . . . no lessons ever, but he just gets better and better all the time . . . surpassed my meager abilities long ago.

Gotta love it when your kids pick up the guitar (or any instrument.)
What gear are you using or GASing for?
