Which pickups or specs were in the original Nocaster? Also if I wanted to do a Nocaster build, which pickups would be best to put in to get closest to the original sound? Cheers

Tim teleboli November 4th, 2009, 10:08 PM Groovey Records, I'm a huge Mare fan with two sets currently. I think his Nocaster set used to be called 0514, but I'm not sure what he calls them now. The actual Nocaster pickups were inconsistent from one to the next, so there is no precise sound which is "the nocaster sound". pabarge November 5th, 2009, 01:41 AM Don Mare ThreeChords November 5th, 2009, 11:57 PM I'm going to have to agree with Tim on this...Nocasters Pickups seem to be the best choice for a Nocaster!
