I just started seeing those things last night. I logged out for a minute and looked at a thread and there they were again.

Strange!

I notice these annoying little specimens on some pages I visit. If you put your pointer over it, does it show a pop-up box?

PS: I'm moving (back) to Brick Twp. Can't wait!!!

When you are logged out here there are ads you can't see when you are logged in.

Included in this is "in-text" ads that underline words and provide a pop up ad when you put your mouse over the link. You'll not see these if you simply log in and stay logged in.

Intext ads look like this -- see the double underlined word "music":

But, I don't think that this is what Chet is seeing.

I think what Chet is seeing (well, who knows what Chet is seeing) is something he installed from Yahoo Messenger. It uses a magnifying glass icon and highlights. Chet must have installed in on his browser without realising it.

LiveWords is a Yahoo! Messenger feature that allows you to initiate Yahoo! searches from Yahoo! Messenger chat dialogs. LiveWords targets certain words based on interests you select and links them to Yahoo! search. Use LiveWords to instantly get information about topics you're discussing with contacts.

Since this has absolutely nothing to do wit the TDPRI, I'm going to close this thread.
