Looking for coil wire supplier in the UK

Hi, I'm looking to buy rolls of plain enamel 42 & 43awg (46 & 46.5swg) coil wire for winding my own pickups. Does anyone have any UK supplier details? Probably about 1Kg of each (about 2.2lbs)

Hi JC, I have just got a reel of awg42 from Brocotts on ebay, item no' 200399688236 has just been relisted. I have just rewound a tele bridge pup with it from one of their 250 grm reels. I don't know yet how it sounds as I need some wax now :oops: Wire seems ok to me but what do I know,this is my 1st attempt so for the price I thought I would give it a go as I could try a few without breaking the bank.

Hi Barrie, thanks for that - Just had a look. Don't know why I hadn't thought of ebay. You'll probably get about 2-3 pickups from a 250g reel.

If anyone knows a supplier who sells larger quantities I'd be grateful for the info.
