Cracked neck heel repair

My beloved red Predator broke at the neck heel today. The neck tilt on these guitars is pretty much made to break your neck.

The crack is very small. I really do not want to finish the break but I think it is causing the 1st string side to raise up and create buzz.
Do you suggest super glue, gorrilla glue, or something else? I don't think that I have any tightbond. I read somewhere to dampen the wood during the repair process in neck breaks. Is this necessary?

Thanks

Note: I moved this from the five year old thread this was resurrecting, which can be found here (http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-tech/15105-can-fixed.html?highlight=can+this+be+fixed). Bringing up very old threads can cause extreme confusion, as folks don't notice the dates, and respond to very old posts!

Ah, thank you Tim.

I renamed the title.
