How workable would this be? I switch back and forth between my Tele and my acoustic a bit, and I'm getting tired of lugging two amps around. That in addition to the fact that I'm not happy with my current amp setup anyway and am looking to trade up. I would like to get a real DR, but that may not happen any time soon. I'm currently playing through a modded Classic 30 that was basically converted to an Orange clone. Hot little amp, but I'm just not getting anywhere close to the classic Fender cleans I'm looking for. That, and the reverb tank was yanked on it. I figure on trading it off with the Crate Vintage Club 4X10 cab I got with it. Will be the perfect amp for somebody - just not me.
Here's the combo I'm talking about:

So my hope is that I can put an amp modeler like the DR pedal into one side of my 75W acoustic amp. That would allow me to tote one amp and simplify my rig tremendously. Yes, I know it won't be the real deal but I'm wondering if it will be a workable solution? Thoughts? I'm thinking that even if I do eventually find my "dream" amp, that the pedal would at least simplify my practice rig. Three trips back and forth to the truck for every practice is getting kinda old....
For that matter, we play a few pretty small venues with a small house PA. Is it feasible to put this pedal between my Tele and the board or am I asking it to do something it's not designed for? So far I'm only carrying my acoustic to these gigs - partly because a "real" amp would have to be choked down entirely too much to be able to breathe.
