Fender Bullet Deluxe pickguard job - Help

Hi, a friend has "inherited" a red Bullet from 80's like this

http://fenderbullet.info/photos/leeroy/files/page7-1025-full.html

The previous owner exchanged the bridge pickup with an humbucker, enlarging (obviously) the pickup hole.

My friend wants me to put back a single coil in it to get a cleaner sound (he plays rhythm in a blues band), so I have to make a new pickguard for him and choose a correct pickup to match the neck one.

I already picked a (naturally) aged white plastic foil (2mm thick because couldn't find the correct 1,5mm and 1 mm seemed too thin) for the pickguard, but now I have to trace the contour.

Please can anyone provide a pdf, dxf, dwg, ... template?

What pickup could I use at bridge? Where can I find a white single coil pickup cover with no holes in it?

I thought to get a Strato set and put almost 2 of the PU's so they both could be balanced (to be honest I asked him to put all 3 + new selector in the Bullet) but he's on budget..

I forgot to say that the guitar actually rocks!

Thanks

Mauro

mustang pickups and covers... if you're lucky, perhaps the original screw holes weren't totally routed out and you can use them to determine the original pickup's location.

I bought one of those bodies a couple of years ago. The guy I got it from gave me a tracing of the pickguard. I can try scanning it this evening into a PDF.

Thanks Casual Reader, I'll look over the internet for a mustang replacement pickup.
