A while back I did a Dragoncaster which was a fabric covered Tele.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out so I decided to try another. This one I will probably sell unless I can't stand to part with it. It's happened before. I picked up a "web special" body from USA Custom Guitars. It's a 3 piece swamp ash and I think it's very nicely finished for the price. And I must say that dealing with Tommy at USACG was a pleasure. So here's a couple photos of the body & the fabric. Figure sometime right after Thanksgiving I'll be back with photos of the finished body.

Extremely cool! I can't imagine where you could find such cool fabric. You don't see that at walmart!

Mmm, a guitar like that could make anyone a dead head. I have to look fabric guitars up, this is the most awesome thing I have ever seen. AMAZING job man, seriously cool!

I found this place when I was looking for the fabric I used on the Dragoncaster. They have a lot of unique stuff.

Wow, thanks! I was considering attempting to make a tele with red bandana fabric and a white pickguard. How difficult was it to pull off?

It's not really difficult but it is more work that just paint. Here's a tutorial from the ReRanch website. The poster (Jai) is who helped me through my first fabric finish. If after you look through his tutorial you have specific questions I'll be glad to answer them.

Stunning looking material. I'm not really a fan of designs featuring skulls etcetera, but that is a really cool design and should look amazing when the job is finished.
I think this one will be hard to part with when it's done.

Great project - thanks for sharing the link on the Reranch site as well. I do not know how I entirely missed the dragoncaster thread - boy that turned out great! Looking forward to this one progressing too.
