Drill bit size for hipshot?

What is the appropriate size drill bit to use when drilling the back of the bridge (Tele, Vint style) to make the space for the ferrules?

Yes, I believe that is what you mean. I'm talking about the holes in the back of the bridge that the string travels through from the bender and over the saddles.

I hope this isn't a dumb question but I ordered my first ever bender Monday and I am trying to have everything prepped for its arrival.
