Hi my names Tony and i am from Melbourne Australia
i have been playing since about 1966 and my main guitar for the last 16yrs has been a G&L ASAT special. I love constructing guitars and messing with electronics i also play live but not as much as i used to. I am currently constructing a Baritone strat style but my next build may be a tele 12string made out of some Ancient Kauri i am importing in.

cheers
Tony

Howdy, I'm new here myself. What do you think of your G&L? I don't actually own a Telecaster (yet) but I'm wondering how the G&L stacks up against the Fender.

Cheers!

Hi Paul i am in Melbourne

Jimi i love my ASAT i have been playing my home built strat for the last 12months and just last week went back to the G&L and its again my fav player.

As far as how it stacks up against the Tele well thats up to the individual but i like my ASAT better then my mates 70's US tele, with the MFD pickups in the ASAT special to my ears it smokes the stock teles, but i also dont mind jamming around on my Nephews Affinity stock tele which is missing in alot of areas. I also have a U2 Danelectro and i love that guitar as well.

cheers
Tony

Hi Rob thanks for the welcome.

Bit of an inventive side myself mainly guitar electronics but never too old to learn. I am always scrounging around and learning something new, which is great.
