Hi guys, I posted a reply on another thread asking tis question by mistake but here goes again.
I'm about to embark on my first build/assembly using the best parts I can afford for my left hand Nashville tele. Are there any book/vids/dvds you could recommend and also manufacturers to avoid. thnks in advance

I'm building a left hand thinline body for a first build. If you are good at searching the web, you can find tons of good and free information. Ron Kirn's builds are laid out well in photos and descriptions here and at his site. Use the google. There's also a ton of guitar building videos on youtube. Start digging.

I think most of it depends on your budget. If you just want to build one guitar and have it be the best - you may choose a different path than if you wanted to only spend $300 and plan on building follow on projects that would be higher quality.

I don't know if you need a book, but you may want to buy a fender and get to know that guitar really well before you spend any real money.
