Happy with Red's 80/20 Copper and Bronze [Archive]

Took a chance on a set of these for my Favilla F-5 mahogany. Nice and crisp but warm at the same time. Little "brownie" will never be a strummer but what an improvement in volume and sustain. Always have used Phos/bronze but I like the change for the better. Other Favilla related news. Found out from Tom Favilla (who made my guitar in 1969) that mine has a Brazilian board. I always thought it was by the gorgeous figuring but wasn't sure. So IMO don't sleep on Reds or old Favilla's
