Transparent Colors?

What are, and where might I find, transparent colors like in the pic below?
(especially interested in the red, yellow, and green).

They are dyes, likely the wood is dyed, then finished in a clear finish, but the finish might be tented with a dye. If you go to the Finely finished forum, yoiu can get a lot more information there

Woodcraft.com. They also have stores around the country, so there might be one near you. I've gone to one about 40 minutes away and bought a plank of Padouk for a guitar neck as well as some honey amber dye.
