I've got a 60's strat body in shoreline gold. I wanted to do something a little different. I was thinking of putting a tortise shell guard on it, but I'd like to see what one looks like first.

What color is that? Kind of looks like inca silver. Looks great whatever it is!

metalflake gold. Nice looking guitar, Claude. You sure faked some heavy nicotine on that neck!

That was a Champagne sparkle of some flavor or another on a body that I had for awhile.

I did get a bit carried away with the tint on that neck.

I parted that one out.

Body's gone to another home, parts and neck are waiting for a body transplant.

I'm probably going to sand the neck down and refinish it again with a lighter touch of tint.
It's just a tad fat for me and I need to remove a bit of wood to make it fit my hand properly anyway...

I dig the colors, but that body was just a bit too dense and heavy for my personal preference.

That's purty. I've got a Lonestar Strat from '97 in shoreline gold, and have always wondered about tortoiseshell instead of pearloid...I might have to give it a shot after seeing this...swapped out those Texas Specials for WCR SR singlecoils, too...
