Hi everyone,
Been here for a little while now so thought I'd better introduce myself.
My name's Adam and I am a student studying Music Technology, so I'm interested in all sorts of studio equipment and musical instruments.
That's why I see the beauty in Telecasters. They just got it right the first time. Basically a slab of wood with a pickup nailed into it and some strings. Nothing too fancy, just basic yet undeniably beautiful. Nothing to go wrong.
I originally got into Telecasters when I saw Steve Morse's old Tele, with all the controls and pickups. I immediately saw the Tele as the perfect guitar for modifying. So I went out and nearly bought a Fender MIM, with the intention of changing the pickups and adding switches and all that sort of stuff, but saw a Squier Standard for £100 less. I tried the Squier and fell in love.
And the only thing I've done is put a killswitch on it, and that hardly gets used!
So, like I said... They got it right first time.
