Here's One For Ya'

This is a follow up to the "Volume Pedal Blues" thread I started.

THIS INFORMATION MAY BE USEFUL OR IMPORTANT TO YOU.

After having problems with my Ernie Ball VP Jr, and discussing it on the previously mentioned thread, I e-mailed EB one last time.

This reply from them was very thorough, and contained the answer I sought. The person at EB who responded mentioned that one possible explanation might be that I had changed the order my pedals were in. I thought it was kinda' goofy, but electricity being the often inexplicable bugger that it is, I tried it.

Sure enough it freaking worked. I had altered my pedal chain by one, count 'em, one pedal. I returned the pedal order to its previous state, and voila! Taper problem solved.

I don't understand it, but it worked, so 'nuff said.

I wanted to post this as it might be helpful to someone, somewhere, sometime.
