Experimenting with a .068 mF Capacitor [Archive]

About a year ago, I made an oak parstcaster for myself. I put in Dimarzio Twang Kings (N & B) with a .047 mF capacitor (Mojo tone PIO). I have found that my guitar can get very shrill and ice picky at times. To cure this, I have removed the .047 mF cap and in its place tried a .068 mF Auri Cap. I have noticed a substantial difference, the highs are definitely not shrill, however, it almost sounds as though the low E is a little bit loose now. Don't know if that is just me picking up something that isn't there (re: the loose low end) or if that is the case. Hopefully someone around here with more experience can shed some light on this for me?

I have a .1 in my tele and haven't noticed any strange effects to the bottom end. Don't know if thats any help.
