Tele neck on Barracuda LP copy

Have a junky Barracuda LP copy sitting at home that I've gutted. I have always been a fan of the LP body and want to use it for a Hot Rod project guitar but the neck that's on it looks very poor quality & I want to replace it.

It has a bolt-on neck and the dimensions of the neck pocket are 3 1/4"L x 2 1/4"W x 5/8"D, which is very similar to a Telecaster's 3"L x 2 3/16"W x 5/8"D pocket.

The mounting holes for the neck are spaced at approximately 2 1/16"Vertical x 1 7/16"Horizonal and are set 1/8" further to the right, if looking from the back.

I know the neck mounting holes shouldn't be a big concern, as I could drill the new neck to match, but will the 1/4" pocket length come into play?

One thing to note is that the neck pocket goes all the way through to the neck pickup hole.

The distance from the nut to the middle of the 12th fret is 12 3/8". I assume that if the neck scale matches, I could just bolt the neck down with 1/4" left open at the bottom of the pocket.

The distance from the 12 th fret to the saddles needs to be 12 and 3/8 plus room away from the nut for intonation as well. If your saddles don't move up that far you won't be able to intonate it. Now saying that, I have a Kalamazoo neck in a tele routed body because I added longer screws to the saddles putting them in the right spot. The bridge had room for the saddles as well. I should also mention that the distance from the 22nd fret to the end of the neck is less than a regular LP neck which also helped. So the answer is maybe, maybe not. You have to measure the distances.
