Hi all,

I have just finished Build my first Valve amp.

Its a Tweed Deluxe 5E3.
The cabinet is made from 18mm Pine.
The amp circuit is stock with the exception of the tubes. And I used a semi PCB instead of a blank turret board.
The rectifier is a JJ GZ34. The pre-amp is 2x JJ ECC83s and the power tubes are JJ 6v6s. This gives me a B+ of 407v
The speaker is a Jensen C12N.
The amp sound is beautiful.
I built the amp excepting alot of overdrive. The this amp has LOUD very clean sounds. Although haven't had the volume over "3" yet!

Sorry to rant, but i had to share my enjoyment of creating my first tube amp!

Strange as it may sound, even with only one input used you need to play with both volume settings and the tone to get the overdrive out ot these amps.

That is how it was with my 5A3, prerunner to the 5C3.

Was this a kit? Is so where did you get it? Looks very nice! Could we get some sound clips please?

No kit, this one was built from scratch. I had a friend locally (northern Australia!) build the PCB for me.
Will work on some sound clips.
