Bass neck length

What is the length of a Fender bolt on bass neck? I'm thinking of buying an edge sander to radius the fretboard and don't want to buy one that is too short. Measurement required is from the top of the headstock to the end of the heal. I haven't read of any bass scale longer than 34 inches

I just checked my p-bass and it is about 32.5 inches from headstock tip to the end of the fretboard. It's a 51 reissue, so it has the squared off heel, but I don't think a standard round heel neck would be too much different.
