That... that just can't be real... holy cow... stunning...

I'm surprised it didn't bust into flames.

I know I've gone a little overboard with parallel'ing coupling/bypass caps (when I run out of a certain value), but jeez... never more than two, that guy had like 4 each!

I gotta say - I wonder how that thing sounded. HAHA!!

O, wow:shock: It must have been a drunk audiophile that modded it: 'upgraded' powercord and -plug, cotton insulation (over the pvc jackets that is...), improved filtering and bypass caps. All pretty common mods, but executed like this and in a guitar amp?

I worked in TV and VCR repair for over 20 years until 2003. Believe me, that video is only scratching the surface of what some people will do...

The guy speed-talking in the background needs to lay off the coffee

If you leave anything at the door of a federal building they call the bomb squad. Do you have any idea of how many penutbutter and jelly sandwichs get blown up each month?

This is why audiophiles need to be rounded up and put into reeducation camps where they will be forced to listen to a DI'd Strat on the bridge pickup until they come to their senses.

I think this confirmed my complete transformation into guitar geek by leaving me in complete hysterics. I can't believe I laughed until a tear trickled down my cheek at a video of a man looking at an amp circuit. I love the barrage of expletives from the guy in the background.
