I am Building a Tele Bass using an Allparts 20 Fret Tele Neck and a
Tele Swamp Ash Body with just the neck pocket routed out.

Any suggestions are appriciated. Attached is the design I am going for.
Created on my photoshop. What do you guys think?

I think yours will be really neck-heavy.

It looks a lot like this but with a tele body:
Classic Vibe Precision Bass '50's (http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0303080502)

In order to reduce "neck dive", you start with the heaviest body you can find. Locate the bridge as far down as you possibly can. Sink the neck as far into the body as the bridge location will let you. Use the lightest tuners you can afford. Assemble the neck and bridge before finishing and check for balance. If this still fails before you paint/finish it, bore a 2 inch hole about 1-1/2 inch deep in the back as far aft as you can and fill it almost level with lead shot and epoxy. Cap it with wood and finish it.
I build Tele Basses using short scale (30") necks and they dont dive at all but it can be a real deal breaker using the full size (34") necks. You wont keep it if it dives deep.....that is a promise.
Good luck,
Rob

Does Badass make a vintage style heavy bridge? That may help balance out the guitar.
