My newest Strat KillerStratotwanger October 16th, 2009, 02:07 AM I just picked up this 1983 Gibson Corvus III, all original, bolt on, 5 way and is amazing! It's one of those rare, love it or hate it shapes. Lovingly named the can opener in it's day. Stratotwanger October 16th, 2009, 10:20 PM It's actually extremely cool, as long as I have this, and a few of my other purchases, my Strats won't see the light of day. They made the Corvus from 82-84 and then they did a set neck version after that and called it the Futura. Now they have the Futura out again which is the original design of the Explorer. It's so funny how they keep running out of names to call guitars so they just use one that they think people have forgot about. It is really balanced well, no neck bombing here. It's just something you have to check out for yourself if you ever get the chance.
