Tough choice...

I've got a Boss PH-2 that I really don't use that often, and I've got an offer to trade for one of the 3 following pedals straight up:

Boss CH-1, Boss HR-2, or Boss BF-2

I play in a praise and worship band, and my guitar rig and sound is aiming for Taylor Johnson (Robbie Seay, Shane & Shane lead guitar).

Any thoughts?

The HR-2 and the BF-2 are hard to come by cause they are no longer being made as for the CH-1 it is still in production.

Its the one phaser I own that no other phaser sounds like,truly one of a kind.
With a little trim pot adjustment [and on mode 1 of course,] it gets a great hammond/leslie vibe on chord comping with the rate maxed.
I've got a phase 90,small stone,univox foot fazer and ross orange phaser.They are all in the same ballpark,but the PH-2 is more vocal,chewy,and warm..........nothing else sounds like it.
the bf-2, and ch-1 are mediocre in my opinion,I've yet to hear the hr-2.
If your ph-2 is made in japan,its worth more than the flanger and chorus,maybe not the hr-2.

Thanks for the input. I ended up going with the HR-2. So far I'm pleased. I don't know a whole lot about musical harmony, but until I learn, I can get some cool octave and chorus sounds out of it.

Have you done any mods to the PH-2 other than the LED?
I've had one for almost a decade that I've been a bit bored with, but I'd be interested in tweaking it a bit.
