I've got an '83 Strat Elite body. It is routed for a Schaller Freeflyte tremolo. I can't seem to find one anywhere, or a replacement part. Any ideas???

Shoved BassVIII October 10th, 2009, 10:10 AM A kahler spyder should fit perfectly jtpal25 October 10th, 2009, 10:10 AM I'll take a look, I'm not sure. Thanks E5RSY October 10th, 2009, 12:19 PM Anyone know if you can still get an Elite pickguard complete with the switches pre-installed??? Also, are the pickup holes in the Elite pickguard too big for regular-sized pickups? Obviously, I'm trying to get the Elite switching system on a standard Strat, if that's possible. I think they should have gone to the Elite buttons on all Strats long ago...any combination is possible. Thanks, Scott Eric_M October 11th, 2009, 01:34 PM I doubt Fender still has any on hand. Judging from this picture (http://www.wdmusic.com/fender_strat_elite_pickguard_stel_3501.html) the pickups aren't the same size. This site (http://www.guitar-parts.com/products/1730/Fender-Jeff-Beck-Switch-or-Button.htm) seems to have the correct switches. From reading "The Stratocaster Chronicles," I don't think an Elite pickguard would fit on a non-Elite body; something about the lower horn being bigger than on a typical Strat? | ||
