Vox AC4TVH upgrades

Anyone do any upgrades/mods to the new Vox AC4? Tubes? Speakers? Transformers? Just bought one and am wondering how to get the most out of it.

I've swapped out tubes but nothing else. Went with NOS RCA 12ax7 and Amperex EL84. Added some clarity to the clean tones when using the attenuated settings and smoothed out the overdrive just a tad when cranked. Not a world of difference just slight.

NOT AC4, but Epi VJr: I know there was a nice smoothing out of the tones with an NOS 12AY7 and A/NOS EL84. Luckily, most of the world is still doing the Push-Pull thing, so single NOS tubes are still easy to come by at reasonable money. For the 12AY7, you're still at the mercy of the market, but they are out there for decent money.

I got most of my tubes at a hamfest, all under $5, then sat down at home and tried out all the different pre tubes I had until I found a favorite, then did the same with the power tubes, then checked the pre tubes again, just to be sure. Mostly hair-splitting, but I got a handful of useful tubes for it for under $30, and more than enough for spares, and 2+ hours of very fun tube tasting out of the deal.
