'06 MIM Strat CAR

Found one of these at a local pawn shop for $130, didn't buy it yet cause i wanted to get thoughts on this year. To me this sounds like a helluva deal. Only picked it up breifly cause i knew if i held it to long in my hands i would have walked out with it.

Anybody have plytime on this year strat? Thanks for your input.

I have an '08 MIM Standard in CAR and love it. I think '06 was when they started using the high mass zinc trem blocks, too. If you need one, buy it because $130 is stupid cheap and you can replace the bridge for cheap if you feel a need to. BUY BUY BUY! (I'm a good influence, right?) Worst case scenario, you can sell it for $250+ and profit.

I have an '04 MIM and I would say that $130 is definitely worth it!

not much of a strat guy but maybe i haven't played the right strats, which were sx and a '94 mim squier series, this one may change my mind though and yes profit did cross my mind when i saw the price tag.

how are the pick ups on these?
