Gentlepersons,

It is with great pride and my sincere gratitude to all of those involved with this build, that I introduce to you: Bullet.

She is a Honduran Mahogany bodied, 2 Humbucker (Bareknuckle VHII's) lady with a very bad attitude! Maple Neck by Tommy @ USA Custom. Gotoh Chrome plated brass tele bridge. Schaller Locking Tuners and a Drop D Key....AND of course an Evans Pull String.
Yes I Convinced Him to do a clear Lexan cover! And Marty Bell is responsible for the stealth black finish and the hot rod red bender cavity.

All assembled and dressed up by Chihoe Hahn @ Hahn Guitars. He is unequaled at his craft, quite simply the very best!!!!!

Now before all of you purist guys get your panties in a bunch... This girl has 1 purpose... To beat a Les Paul in Girth, Growl, and with Authority.

I have 2 other Bender Teles (Swamp Ash Am Std with a Pull String and Bareknucle Piledriver Tele Set) and a Fender Nashville Tele with an Evans Modified Fender Bender.

I welcome all comments and questions.

Long Live Rock...Long Live Us All.

Beautiful. There's something about a red guitar...

Pardon what might be a dumb question, but why is there twice the hardware one finds in a P/G?

Well as far as the Bender hardware goes, IMHO the Pullsting is THE bender design to beat. It is absolutely precise and superbly engineered. There is a bit more hardware because it allows for adjustment of the return spring tension without actually any disassembly, and simply popping the cover allows for adjusting the throw from short to long and anything in between (without even taking the strings off!). I have had virtually every bender design prior to finding Dave's work and this thing is hands down the smoothest and most accurate. It truly feels like an extension of the instrument rather than an add on. The light weight materials used add virtually no extra weight than a P/G.

I hadn't heard that. One of these days there might just have to be a new bender in the family.

rockato,

Very nice! Looks like an absolute killer. I have an Evans Pull String with a clear cover too. People always want to know what I have in my Asat, so it's nice to be able to flip it over and let them see. And, I agree, the Evans is a very sophisticated bender. Elegant, and beautifully engineered. I will never part with mine. Your red one's a beaut too. Love the look of the three ply blackguard! I'm hoping to have Dave do another in my Asat III. Very well done!

Love it - looks like it was made by Aliens.
I would like to have that setup but with a clear plexiglass front too...

I'm a neophyte in the world of b-benders. What would be a good intro into a decent one?
