Hey all I picked up a Keely compressor and I'm really not sure if I love it or even need it. I have a Boss compressor that was so noisy that I figured I would give it a try. The Link below is a sample of me playing for comparison purposes. Any input as to does it make a difference or am I wasting money or ideas on tweaking it would be greatly appreciated.

well to me your amp sounded better with it off,but compression is a sensitive pedal, plus your amp has natural compression. You probably won't need it on all the time, but that keeley will have it's place when you might want that squashed sound espcially when you play on tele with bridge pup and raise treble a hair, you get that instant squashed country/blues tone

If my pedalboard were stolen, my Keeley 2 knob comp would be the first pedal I would replace. Yes you need it, you just don't know it yet.

And I thought your sound was punchier and more "in your face" with the Keeley.
