Guitar teacher in the Tri-Valley area of the SF East Bay? [Archive]

My 14-year-old daughter has been asking about guitar lessons. We live in San Ramon.

She wants to start with acoustic, and would like to learn some classic stuff like the Beatles, along with some newer stuff, and nuts-and-bolts guitar playing and theory.

There is a guy named Joe Livoti who teaches out of House of Woodwinds in San Ramon. There is also Danville Music in (of course) Danville, which has a bunch of guitar teachers.

Anyone familiar with any of these folks, or have any other suggestions?
