hello: i am playing the old bad company stomp "Can't Get Enough". i got tab for the solo and it sure isn't overwhelming to play, but playing it with just one guitar in the band, it sounds pretty dinky to me. i have little doubt that many of you guys here who have been playing out for years have played this song, how have you approached playing the solo, if you were the only guitar? is it possible to play it in doublestops and harmonize with yourself and make it sound good?

I play it in my band, but we have two guitars doing it in harmony. sounds killer. I've attempted to play it double stops, sounds eh, not so great, but I'm not that good!
I've played it one guitar and just done the low part, it gets the message across, nobody hurled insults or beer bottles at me for not doing both parts. yet.

By yourself? Just play the lead melody line. IMO, it sounds pretty good by itself provided you've got the tone, phrasing and vibrato down
