Has anybody here tried the Eden WXT-500? I'm hoping it will sound fat and warm, and prove to be reliable and road-worthy

It's actually thin and cold, unreliable and completely unroadworthy.

I think it's a WTX500 . . . 500 watts @ 4 ohms . . . just over 4 pounds. It's great!

I use the WT-550 . . . 750 watts at 2 ohms . . . I use two 4 ohm cabs. I couldn't ask for more!

Eden has a website . . . go check it out and ask owners who have that amp . . .

You would be bettter off asking that question at a more populated site ... FWIW - I played with a 260 and thought it was horrid. ... and I'm an Eden fan with a WT-800 ... hope they got it right with the 500.

I use the EA Micro 300 as my micro amp and love that. Transparency is it's thing. That and portability of course. The micro 300 and Bag End 15 coax combination slay's for jazz & blue grass gigs. For warm, I just turn the mids down, bass & treble up for a nice round scoop. Warm it is ...
