initiation fee is a little steep at wildwood or other reputable guitar shops; well worth it if ya can swing it!

No pictures as of yet---I'm a computer/digital camera ignoramus---It's a flame top cherry burst. I did change to a graphite nut and a set of Gibson Grover tuners. This is my second one of these great guitars. I loved the first one which developed a tiny crack in the arched top that I found while polishing the guitar after playing the first gig with it. The guys at the music store sent it back to the Gibson Custom Shop to have it corrected. After waiting for it to be returned for almost three weeks, the store called gibson and were told "Oh, we crushed that one". I ended up getting an ES335 in it's place, which turned out to be one of the worst guitars I've ever owned. I have two Epi Dots since then and they're are both great. The new CS336 is the real deal.

These interest me, none close to home for trial. Can any of you describe their tone compared to 335, 339 or a PRS Hollow Body? Are they generally finished better than 335s?

Thanks.
