snakeskin strat with 2x p 90: good project idea? [Archive]

hi guys, i have a lake placid mexican strat that begs to be modified. i have very good experiences with the düsenberg domino p 90 pups for slide-playing and a friend of mine is capable to cover basically anything with really cool looking fake-reptile skins. he does that professionally. what would you think of such a guitar? too funky maybe? or just right? the body of that guitar is not very much resonating, so it would not harm the sound too much at all, i think it´s a 7-layer body. thanks for ideas, eddie
