Thoughts on the new Fender Bassman TV amps?

I'm a very basic bass player at best and I'm curious to hear what you all think abou these amps. Are they even out yet? I really like the looks of these! I"m a sucker for those Fender videos!

They certainly look nice. I'd guess that's what you're paying for. They're not for me, anyway. I swore off combos (for bass) a long time ago.

You're definitely paying for a look with those amps, but it's a very cool look. Knowing nothing other than the general specs I've seen online, I would imagine that the larger ones would be sufficient for most small to medium gigs--350 watts and 2x10 or 1x15 speakers.

There is a fair bit of competition at that price level, though...I've got quite a few bass amps these days, so I don't follow that market too closely. There's gotta be a GC or something around you where you can try one out and let us know!

I'm interested in playing the 350-watt, 2x10 model.
