A glimpse into the future.
I have never seen these before. So what do you think?

I remember Gibsons RD series in the 70's that had onboard compression and the like, they were ummmm ...... 'interesting' maybe things are better now, the idea is great but i'm just as happy to have it on the floor and let my tone and vol knobs be tone and vol knobs without pulling and pushing as well !

I bought the compressor board from GFS and mounted it in a box and made a stomp out of it. The one that I purchased had a weird screech in the background that I could not dial out with the controls. I returned it and Jay was very prompt with my refund.

Actually, a bit of a blast from the past, as Big John has illustrated.
I know lots of guitarists who've had all sorts of gizmos internally fitted in their guitars.
All of the Lovetone COT variants (Les Lius, Woodrow, etc.) are actually a pedal form of the Electra distortion module that was in those guitars that Peter Frampton and others used (not that Frampton used that particular module).
It seems that the only on board module that seems to stick with any success is a preamp/boost module, like in Carvin guitars, or is necessary for EMG pickups.

Well, it was new to me. I remember the distortion units we used to plug in the input jack of the guitar. I had never heard of actual placement within the electronics of the guitar.
Twelve lashes with a G string.
