They do that routing at the factory and I guess there's no special reinforcement applied - so I'd say go for it! it took me some time to put the dremel to my Reso - but once done, it's great :lol: now how on earth did you take that picture from inside of the guitar? :shock: http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/yy314/campbellu2002/DSC00112.jpg TNO September 29th, 2009, 04:33 PM My experience has been that fairly close to the coverplate is the best place to locate the pickup. It will sound more balanced and acoustic there.
