I was just wandering around in Sam Ash Music a couple days ago and played a Taylor 214 with the 3 know depression system on it.

I was just getting ready to have it rung up and then I thought, let me plug it in for minute. I have played several Taylors before and like the way they sound.

Well, this thing sounded like a banjo! It was horrible! I couldn't understand why. Then, just to besure I wasn't crazy, I plugged in a Taylor 314 and there it was. Big beautiful sound.

Apparently the 114 and 214 models have some real budget electronics in them and sound nothing like the 314 and up models.

Close call there. Glad I didn't take it home!
